Exclusive Fabiano Millani Workshop organized by Art Academy at Khawla Art Gallery, Dubai Design District.
Registrants are requested to bring their own canvas of size: 40 X 50 cm
Prior to the commencement of the workshop, the artist will prepare the colour palettes for each individual student in accordance with a specific order consistent with his personal technique which will be explained to the participants. Students will then be requested to utilise the sandpaper provided to create a smooth surface on the canvas as per the artist’s demonstration. The artist will then begin painting a single eye whilst explaining the painting techniques i.e., blending, colour-matching, etc.
Having completed the first eye, the artist will then hand over the second eye to his assistant, Lijia Fiedler, and individually go through every participant’s work constructively critiquing where deemed necessary.
Subsequently, the artist will gradually complete the whole portrait. Finally, participants will receive a certificate of completion and the artist will engage in a fun group activity and award the winning participant his signed painted portrait.
