Based in the dynamic city of Dubai, we are a contemporary art gallery that aims to make the global art scene more accessible and inclusive. We present emerging, established Middle Eastern and international artists who draw upon traditional art and culture to innovate new forms of creative expression.  
Through exhibitions, art fairs and projects we help our artists gain visibility locally and globally. Our lectures, workshops, events, and talks engage experienced and new collectors and art enthusiasts alike, creating a space where all ideas are welcome. 
Committed to enhancing access to ART we showcase our exhibits online through viewing rooms for spectators and buyers across the world.  
Khawla Art Gallery strives to emphasize the impact of art on society. Through accessible and inclusive artistic programs, as well as incubating art into architecture concepts and hospitality systems we aim to empower communities to enact creative solutions for a brighter future.     We believe art can innovate solutions for the biggest challenges of our times, but only when all voices are heard. Driven by the need to make the global art scene more accessible and inclusive, we present contemporary art from emerging and established Middle Eastern artists who draw inspiration from their culture and traditions.
     
    Khawla Art Gallery strives to ensure that the perspectives, ideas and voices of emerging and established Middle Eastern artists are visible in the global art scene. We aim to help the world understand the unique needs and perspectives of the Middle East. We engage local communities to help them shape their own responses to global debates.
     
    It is only when all perspectives are included that all lives can be transformed.

  • The Founder

    H.H. Sheikha Khawla Bint Ahmed Khalifa Al-Suwaidi is a poet, writer, calligrapher and art critic. Sheikha Khawla established Khawla Art & Culture to cultivate interest in the cultural heritage of the world, with an emphasis on calligraphy. As an extension of this mission, she launched Khawla Art Gallery. The aim is to nurture emerging and established Middle Eastern artists so that they can share their perspectives with the world. Through Khawla Art & Culture and Khawla Art Gallery, she envisions a world where peoples of all nations can learn from one another and usher in an era of peace, prosperity and tolerance.

    Khawla Art Gallery aims to make the global art landscape accessible and inclusive by presenting Middle Eastern perspectives to local and global audiences. Through participation in international art fairs and exhibitions, we nurture the ingenuity and creativity of emerging and established Middle Eastern artists. Our experts conduct extensive courses and workshops to nurture the talents of Middle Eastern communities. We host events, lectures and talks to engage not just those who are knowledgeable, but also those who are eager to enrich their interest in contemporary art.
